Short version: AsesiDoku has no accounts and asks for no data. Everything you play stays on your device. The only thing that leaves it is what the ad network receives in the free version, explained below; with Pro no ad network is loaded and nothing leaves.

What is stored

The game keeps your progress in your browser's local storage: which cases you have closed, your annotations, your streak, your language, theme and accessibility settings, and — if you create or join a group — the name you choose, your time-trial results and any results you paste from other people.

That storage lives on your device. There is no server behind it, so nobody else can read it, us included. Clearing your browser data deletes all of it, which is why the game offers to copy your progress into a piece of text you can keep wherever you like.

What is not collected

No accounts, no email, no passwords. No cookies of ours. No analytics, first or third party. No IP logging beyond what any web server records transiently in order to serve a page.

The ads

The free version shows ads between games (never during one), plus an optional one that unlocks the week's challenges. A third-party network serves those ads, and that network does receive data we never see: typically your IP address, device type and an advertising identifier. It is the one part of the game where we cannot promise nothing is collected, which is why it is stated here rather than left implied.

At the time of writing the intended network is Google AdMob, and its own privacy policy governs what it collects. On iOS and Android the operating system asks you before allowing cross-app tracking; if you say no, ads are still served, just not personalised. In the European Union you will also see the network's own consent notice.

With AsesiDoku Pro no ad network is loaded at all: the slot is not hidden, nothing is requested from anyone.

The purchase

AsesiDoku Pro is a one-off €1.99 payment. We never see or store your payment details: Apple processes them if you buy inside the iOS app, and the site's payment provider does if you buy in the browser, each under its own policy. All that remains on your device is a marker that the purchase was made.

The cases

Cases are downloaded as you open them, and your browser keeps them so you can play offline. Those downloads are static files: they carry no identifier and cannot tell who opened which case.

Groups

Groups work through codes you copy and paste yourself. When you paste someone else's result, their name and time are stored on your device because the standings need them. You can leave a group at any time and it is removed from your device.

If this changes

If accounts or online leaderboards are added later, this page will be updated before that happens and the game will say so plainly. None of it will be switched on quietly.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and collects data from nobody of any age.

Your rights

Since no personal data is processed on any server, there is nothing for us to provide, correct or erase. The delete button is in your own browser: Statistics → Start over.
